AASFAA President's Message

On behalf of the 2019-2020 AASFAA Executive Board, we welcome you to the new AASFAA website.  Countless hours have been spent by our Electronic Services Chair and other association members to develop this exciting new platform.  Please join me in thanking them all for their individual sacrifices and hard work to make this a reality.

I am extremely grateful for the many members who are volunteering their time, energy and talents to help AASFAA through committee chairs, co-chairs, committee members, board members, and helpers of those in the various positions.

I would like to personally invite you, as members of AASFAA, to get involved and volunteer.  Volunteer to give, not get.  I promise you will grow both professionally and on a personal level.  Challenge yourself to network and meet new people.  Step out of your comfort zone, shadow a board member, or committee member and learn a new skill.  AASFAA needs you!

We are a dedicated group of professionals who work in areas of support for higher education and make college possible for a multitude of students.  We serve our members, whether they be new to the profession, seasoned individuals, or otherwise who are dedicated to this line of work.

I am deeply honored for the opportunity to serve as AASFAA’s 2019-2020 president.  I follow a number of great leaders in our association and plan to continue the tradition of making a positive contribution to our continued success.  We have an exciting year ahead.

I look forward to working with each of you throughout the year!
