Alabama FOCUS
Alabama FOCUS is a special project of
the Alabama Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators.
The program promotes early planning for important decisions
associated with a college education--financial aid possibilities,
career options, and college choices.
Alabama FOCUS is based on the principle
that the earlier the planning for college begins, the better
off the family should be when it is time for the student
to enroll. The information provided to families through
this program will be helpful for many grade levels; however,
7th through 11th grade students and their parents are specifically
encouraged to be aware of critical planning points in the
student’s life.
